INDIANAPOLIS – Senior
Collin Bordeaux of the Regis University men's golf team earned an individual selection to compete at the NCAA Division II South Central/West Super Regional Championship, the NCAA announced on Friday.

He joins senior Parker Holekamp of Texas A&M International of the Lone Star Conference and junior Darren Edwards of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) rival Fort Lewis as individuals competing solely for their respective schools in the South Central Region.

In addition to the aforementioned individuals, Bordeaux will face off against eight teams from the South Central Region, including reigning conference champion CSU Pueblo and Colorado Mesa of the RMAC, as well as eight teams from the West Region and three student-athletes competing as individuals from the West Region.

Bordeaux led the Rangers in three of four competitions this season, averaging a score of 72.1 over 10 rounds of play. He finished among the top five at the end of the three competitions in which he paced Regis.

Perhaps his most notable performance thus far this season occurred during the March 15-16 Pioneer Shootout in Alameda, Calif., where he shot a 1-under par 71 for the first round before improving his score with an impressive 3-under 69 for the second round en route to a first-place individual finish and a final score of 4-under 140. RU tied for fourth as a team with a 27-over 603 as Bordeaux was named the RMAC Golfer of the Week for that week.

He followed that effort with a 1-under 143 to clinch a share of third place individually at the March 22-23 Saint Martin's Invitational in DuPont, Wash. Bordeaux shot an even-par 72 in the opening round and closed the tournament with a 1-under 71 during the second round. He led the Rangers to a fifth-place team showing with their final score of 19-over 595.

The NCAA Division II South Central/West Super Regional Championship will be held at The Home Course in DuPont, Wash. The Saint Martin's (Wash.)-hosted championship will take place May 6-8.
