Bordeaux moves to share of 54th after 36 holes in NCAA Division II West/South Central Super Regional Championship

Senior makes par on 10 holes during second round

DUPONT, Wash. – Senior Collin Bordeaux of the Regis University men's golf team returned to competition for the second round of the NCAA Division II West/South Central Super Regional Championship, held at the par-72, second-round, 6,979-yard The Home Course, and concluded the day with a 9-over par 81 on Friday.
 
Combined with his first-round score of an even-par 72, Bordeaux has a score of 9-over 153 after two rounds to put him in a 12-way tie for 54th place individually.
 
He started off his day strong by hitting par on the first three holes and the last five holes of the front nine. Bordeaux also shot for par on both the first and last holes of the back nine.
 
No. 17 Oklahoma Christian leads among teams after two rounds of play with a two-round score of 7-over 583, including a 1-under 287 for the second round.
 
Junior Andrew Ni of No. 20 CSU Pueblo, who is ranked No. 12 in NCAA Division II, is atop of the individual standings following two rounds. Ni shot a 2-under 70 in both the first and second rounds for an overall score of 4-under 140.
 
Ranked No. 23 in NCAA Division II individually, Bordeaux will begin his final round of the NCAA Division II West/South Central Super Regional Championship, held at the par-72, third-round, 7,047-yard The Home Course, on Saturday at 9:36 a.m. MT.
