Rory Grady and Caleb Cox join Rangers' Staff

DENVER – Regis University Athletics announces the additions of two new staff members for the 2021-22 athletic season. Rory Grady has been announced as the new Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine and Caleb Cox has been named the new Assistant Baseball Coach for the Regis Rangers.
 
Rory Grady joins the Regis staff after his career as the Head Athletic Trainer at Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington County, Virginia. Prior to Bishop O'Connell, Grady spent time at Division II Adelphi University, in Garden City, New York, where he worked closely with the women's soccer, men's basketball, men's and women's track and field and baseball programs. Additionally, he worked at Great Neck North High School in Great Neck, New York., where he provided treatment and daily coverage for 500+ student-athletes. Grady has been a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) since 2008, and is certified in CPR, AED and First Aid by the American Heart Association. He attended Lasell College, where he received his B.S. in athletic training in May 2009, before earning his M.A. in physical education from Adelphi University in May 2013. Rory, his wife Cassandra, and their dog Lincoln made the move from Washington D.C. to Littleton this summer.

Drew LaComb has announced the hire of Caleb Cox as the Assistant Regis University Baseball Coach for the 2021-22 season. His main duties will include working with the pitchers and catchers, as well as handling recruiting operations for the Rangers. Cox recently spent time as the Graduate Assistant Coach at Colorado State University Pueblo where he assisted Head Coach Damian Stambersky in his first season at CSU Pueblo. Prior to joining CSU Pueblo, Cox spent time with Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas, a suburb of Wichita. In his single season with the Grizzlies, Cox coached the catchers. Cox began his college playing career at Butler Community College. As a catcher for the Grizzlies, Cox hit .335 with 10 home runs and 42 RBIs. After a successful career with the Grizzlies, Cox continued his baseball and educational career at the D-I level with the University of Arkansas- Little Rock. Cox transferred to Pittsburg State University to finish his career with the Gorillas. Cox is originally from Broomfield, Colorado where played his high school baseball at Broomfield High School.
