Sarah Kate Dhom and Kyleigh Peoples named to IWLCA All-Star Teams

DENVER, Colo. — Regis University graduate students Kyleigh Peoples and Sarah Kate Dhom have been voted to represent the Rangers at the 2022 Senior All-Star Games, selected by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).

A total of 130 student-athletes across the NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III levels have been selected to play in the Senior All-Star Games, scheduled for Sunday, June 5 out at the USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Maryland.

Peoples and Dhom will suit up for the Division II North Team, coached by Xeni Barakos-Yoder from East Stroudsburg University, after sensational 2022 seasons that saw the duo help the Rangers to a 19-1 overall record, RMAC regular season and conference championships, and a ranking as high as No. 3 in the country.

A two-time All-American and three-time RMAC Attacker of the Year, Peoples posted a team-high 55 goals and 80 total points this past spring. She has solidified herself as one of the best players in program history, leading all Rangers in career assists with 129 and free-position goals (62), while ranking second all-time with 209 career goals and 338 career points.

Dhom, who was named to her second consecutive First Team All-Midwest team this season, led the Rangers' defensive group with 40 ground balls and 41 caused turnovers. She graduates as the program's all-time leader in games started (80), while ranking top-5 in career caused turnovers with 154 (2nd) and career ground balls with 146 (4th).

The Division II All-Star game is schedule for 2:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) that Sunday, June 5 at Tierney Field in Sparks, Maryland. Admission to all three games is free of charge. To view the full IWLCA release and All-Star rosters, click here.
