DENVER, Colo. – The Division II College Sports Communicators (D2CSC) Women's Basketball National Poll, formerly known as the D2SIDA, was announced on Tuesday with the Regis University women's basketball team coming in at No. 15 in the Week One poll.
The ranking for the Rangers (2-0), who are also No. 2 in the D2CSC South Central Region rankings, marks the first time they have been nationally ranked since March 8, 2023 when the Rangers were ranked No. 25 prior to the NCAA South Central Regional Championships.
Wednesday's announcement also marks the 18th time in program history that the Rangers have been nationally ranked, whether in the D2CSC media poll or the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) poll. And the No. 15 ranking ties the highest mark in program history. Regis was previously No. 15 on March 6, 2007 in the WBCA National Poll.
In addition to the D2CSC rankings, the Rangers are also receiving votes (34) in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll that was last released on Oct. 31.
