Lily Ferguson named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week for Week Five

| By:
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced the winners of the Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week awards for Week Five on Monday, with Regis University junior midfielder Lily Ferguson earning Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Ferguson, who was named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week back on March 6, earned her first Defensive POW nod after setting a career high in caused turnovers (4), a season high in ground balls (4), while also posting four draw controls in the No. 3 ranked Rangers' 15-7 win over the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs last Friday.

To add to her balanced performance in the Regis win, Ferguson also scored a goal and added two assists to help the Rangers (7-0 overall, 1-0 RMAC) to their first RMAC win of 2023.

Ferguson and the rest of the Rangers will be back in action this weekend with road games against Colorado State University Pueblo (4 p.m. Friday) and Fort Lewis College (12 p.m. Sunday).
