DENVER, Colo. – The Regis University women's basketball team continues to be rewarded for their tremendous 2022-23 season, earning its first national ranking nod of the season Tuesday in the Week 15 D2SIDA Media Poll.
The Regis Rangers (25-6) came in at No. 25, marking the first time they have been ranked in any national poll since Jan. 31, 2017, when the Rangers were also ranked No. 25 at the time. In addition to the D2SIDA rankings, the Rangers also received votes (22) in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll released Tuesday.
Regis gets the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Tournament underway on Friday against No. 6 seed Black Hills State University. Tip-off is scheduled for 11 a.m. (MT) in San Angelo, Texas.
