NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has named the 48 student-athletes who were selected for one of the 2023 Division II All-American teams, with a pair of Regis University student-athletes earning recognition.

Regis graduate student attacker Lucy Johnson and senior midfielder Bailey Truex earned garnered Second Team All-American honors after helping the Rangers (17-2 overall) to the program's fourth straight RMAC regular season and tournament championships this spring.

IWLCA All-American honorees are divided into first, second, and third teams. The IWLCA All-Americans represent 22 different institutions and are the best athletes in our game this year.

Thursday's announcement marks the debut on the All-American teams for both Johnson and Truex, each of whom were named IWLCA First Team All-Midwest last Thursday.

Johnson continues to stack up the accolades as she has already earned First Team All-RMAC, RMAC Attacker of the Year and RMAC Tournament Most Valuable Player honors in the month of May.

The Colorado Springs native led all Rangers with 69 points this spring. She scored 51 goals — 30 more than in 2022 — while also setting career marks in assists (18) and shot percentage (.593).

Truex joined Johnson in the 50-goal club as she led all Rangers with 54 goals across 19 games this spring. A fellow First Team All-RMAC selection, Truex shattered her goal total of 38 from a season ago while also being a pivotal member of the Regis draw control team as she finished second on the team with 68 draws.
