Regis basketball teams to host Coaches vs. Cancer games on Friday against CCU

DENVER, Colo. — In recognition of the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Week (January 22-28, 2024), the Regis University basketball programs will be hosting its Coaches vs. Cancer game on Friday, January 26^th when the Rangers welcome in nearby rival Colorado Christian University.

Game times are scheduled for 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, beginning with the women's game.

The Coaches vs. Cancer program is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. This initiative is designed to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living through various fundraising activities and advocacy programs.

Fans are encouraged to join the Regis coaching staffs in sporting their favorite pink and purple attire in support of cancer patients and survivors. The first 50 fans through the door on Friday, wearing pink or purple apparel, will receive a coupon to Wingstop.

Those interest in donating to the American Cancer Society may do so online through QR codes posted at the ticket window upon entrance into the Regis Field House.
