Three Rangers Earn Academic All-Conference Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) officially released it's 2024 Academic All-Conference Team and Conference Honor Roll, and six Rangers have been honored by the conference.

Amelia Davis, Sr., MB, Denver, Colo. – Davis makes her second consecutive appearance on the Conference All-Academic Team following a year where she led the RMAC in solo blocks, was second in total blocks, and recorded 298 kills on .304 hitting %. The Elementary Education major boasts a 3.96 GPA.

Halle Theis, Gr., OH, Geneva, Neb. – 2024 makes Theis's second Academic All-Conference nod, adding to her selection in 2022. Theis posted 333 kills, 224 digs, 19 aces, and 57 blocks in her final season. She in an Elementary Education major, and has a 3.96 GPA.

Bre Skala, Sr., L, Omaha, Neb. – Skala was the Ranger's final All-Academic selection. She recorded 467 digs, 74 assists, and 26 aces, while holding a 3.96 GPA as a Business Administration major.

Each institution's athletic communications directors nominate student-athletes who academically maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, along with the other criteria for the Academic Honor Roll, for recognition on the First Team Academic All-RMAC in each sport. The league's athletic communications directors for that sport vote to compose the First Team Academic All-RMAC and select the Academic Player of the Year. They are not permitted to vote for their own student-athletes. 

The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes in each conference-sponsored sport who academically maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average, have completed two consecutive semesters at their current institution, and have used a season of competition.

Below are the Rangers that earned a spot on the Conference Honor Roll:

Isabella Smith (Jr., Marketing)

Halle Theis (5th, Physical Therapy)

Amelia Davis (Sr., Elementary Education)

Bre Skala (Sr., Business Administration)

Hannah Kepler (Sr., Finance
