Mayo Harmon earns First Team All-Conference, Egun named RMAC Honorable Mention

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced its individual award winners and All-Conference teams on Wednesday, with two members of the Regis University men's basketball team earning recognition.

Individual award winners and all-conference rosters are voted on by the league's 15 head coaches and coaches are not permitted to vote for themselves or their student-athletes.

Representing the Rangers on the All-Conference teams are a pair of newcomers in sophomore guard Chase Mayo Harmon, who debuts as a First-Team selection, and redshirt junior guard Eddy Egun, who earned RMAC Honorable Mention.

Mayo Harmon has enjoyed a breakout 2023-24 season for Regis, leading the team in scoring (16.0 points per game), 3-point percentage (.418), free-throw percentage (.855) while also setting career highs in rebounding (2.8) and total assists (70) in 29.4 minutes per game.

His 16.0 points per game is the 10th highest average among all RMAC players, while Mayo Harmon also ranks top-10 in the conference for made 3-pointers (9th), 3-point field goal percentage (3rd) and free-throw shooting percentage (4th).

The 2023-24 season has also been a career-year for Egun, in what has effectively been just his second full season at the collegiate level. Egun is averaging a career-best 12.8 points per game on an efficient 54.6% field goal percentage. The redshirt junior has also posted career-bests in made 3-pointers (30) and in assists (51).

Serving as the Rangers' top on-ball defender, Egun has also added nine blocked shots, a career-high 35 steals, and grabbing 3.2 rebounds per game.
