DENVER, Colo. – College Sport Communicators (CSC) has officially released the 2026 Men's Basketball Academic All-District teams, and junior forward Matt Yost has been honored for his academic achievements.
Yost, a business administration major, boasts a 3.815 GPA, and set career highs in nearly every statistic this year. The Aurora, Colo. native played in 20 games, starting 19, averaging 8.0 points and 5.4 rebounds. He recorded 33 assists, a team-leading 24 steals, and 10 blocks.
The Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
Established in 1952 and selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), Academic All-America is the longest-running and premier award for athletic and academic success in championship college sports at all NCAA levels, the NAIA, two-year colleges, and Canadian institutions. The all-time list of 42,000+ Academic All-Americans includes major sports stars and some of the world's most accomplished individuals in medicine, business, science, and the arts.
