GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Regis University baseball program was named a recipient of the 2023-24 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award last week.
The Ranger program was one of only 85 programs in all of NCAA Division II to receive the honor for posting a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale over the course of the entire past academic year.
While on the field Regis made a return trip to the NCAA Division II Regionals in 2024, the Rangers also handled things in the classroom. The team compiled a 3.583 cumulative GPA in 2023-24, earning the
RMAC's Brechler Award for the second time in three seasons as the top-achieving academic baseball program in the conference.
