COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has released the 10th edition of their 2024-25 Men's Basketball Players of the Week, and Regis Guard Kobe Sanders has been voted as the Offensive Player of the Week.
It is Sanders' first weekly award, and he is joined by the Defensive Player of the Week Tru Allen of Fort Lewis.
Sanders led the Rangers to a 2-0 week with wins over #11/13 MSU-Denver, and #6/7 Colorado School of Mines, both games were the teams' first losses in conference play. Sanders averaged 20 points on the week, including a career-high 28 against mines, on hot shooting splits of 58% from the floor and 57% from deep. He also added 11 assists,
The Rangers return to action on Thursday, Jan. 30, hosting Adams State University.
