DENVER, Colo- The Regis University Volleyball team concluded the 2025 season on Saturday afternoon against Colorado School of Mines, but fell 0-3 (17-25, 12-25, 17-25). The Rangers end their season 4-22 (3-11 RMAC), while the Orediggers move on to 20-6 (10-4 RMAC).
HOW IT HAPPENED
Isabella Smith led the Rangers' offense with the first kill of the match;
Kendal Allaire and
Sabrina Landman followed with two more kills; however, the Orediggers led 4-10.
Braiziah Dixon followed with a block, sparking a kill from Smith. Landman would add an ace, and Smith landed another kill, but RU would fall 17-25 in the first set.
CSM raced out to an early 9–1 advantage before
Brooke Sanford halted the run with a decisive kill.
Bailey Nichols followed with a kill of her own, and
Isabella Smith teamed up with
Braiziah Dixon for a strong block at the net. Nichols later delivered an ace and Smith added another kill to close the frame, but the Orediggers held on to take the set 25–12.
Landman and Dixon opened the set with a strong block, followed by consecutive kills from Smith and Dixon to even the score at 7–7. CSM responded with a run of their own, pulling ahead 15–10. Smith kept the Rangers within reach with three straight kills, and Sandman added another, but the Orediggers maintained control and closed out the set 25–17.
