PUEBLO, Colo. – The Regis University Women's Cross Country team competed in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championships, hosted by CSU-Pueblo, at the Walking Stick Golf Course on Saturday morning.
The Rangers finished 22nd out of 26 teams with 585 team points.
Adams State earned the team crown with 42 points, including the individual champion, Tristan Spence.
Allie Braney was the top performer for the Rangers, finishing 44th with a time of 22:15.6. Caitie Slattery finished in the 100 spot, a time of 23:29.7, while Madi Gifford took 135th, finishing in 24:49.6. Right behind her was Mila Stamper, with a mark of 24:49.9, in 136th. Valeria Bustos and Adrianna Ventura-Hill took 170th and 171st with times of 30:42.3, and 33:47.2, respectively.
Braney, Gifford, and Stamper all set 6k personal bests in the race.
The Rangers conclude the 2025 season, a historic year that saw a variety of records being set for the team.
The NCAA DII National Championship Meet is set for November 22 at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wis.
