Women’s Cross Country Releases 2026 Schedule

DENVER, Colo. – The Regis University Women's Cross Country Team has announced their 2026 schedule for this fall with three of this year's meets taking part in Colorado.

The Rangers enter this year after coming off a five-meet season in 2025 where they competed three times in the regular season and twice more in the postseason at the RMAC Championships and the NCAA DII South Central Regionals. They finished with multiple 6k record times being set at the Regionals.

Head Coach Willie Moore returns to lead the team once again while entering his third season at the helm of both the men's and women's team and having this last year be the women's cross country team's best regional and conference results in the past seven years.

Same as the men's team, the Rangers will compete in Colorado at three different RMAC institution-hosted events this fall with them taking part in the UCCS Rust Buster on Sept. 5th in Colorado Springs, the Roadrunners Invite on Sept. 19th in Denver and the UCCS Open on Oct. 14th in Colorado Springs as well.

In addition, they will also head to Hays, Kansas on Oct. 10th to race in the Fort Hays State University Tiger Open.

The RMAC Championships will happen on Nov. 7th in Rapid City with South Dakota Mines serving as the host before the Rangers then have a chance to qualify and compete at the South Central Regional Championships which are taking place in Lubbock, Texas this year on Nov. 21st.

The NCAA DII National Championships take place on Dec. 4th in Lawrence, Kansas with qualification coming from placing high enough at the Regional Championships.
