COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has released the eighth edition of its 2025 Baseball Players of the Week, and Regis University's Nick Jacobs has been named the Pitcher of the Week.
This is Jacobs' first weekly honor, and he is joined by the Player of the Week, Cameron Cartwright of Colorado Mesa.
The Senior righty threw a gem in RU's 12-1 win over CSU Pueblo. In 8.0 innings pitched, Jacobs allowed just one run on four hits. The Longmont, Colo. native walked just one batter, while striking out six. It was Jacobs' longest outing of the season and his second consecutive victory.
Jacobs and the Rangers look ahead to an off-week, with their next game on Friday, April 4, starting a series with Colorado Christian University.
