DENVER, Colo. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced its 2024-25 Women's Cross Country and Track and Field Academic All-District team on Tuesday, and Regis University's Alex Baer has been honored by the organization.
Bear also earned a spot on the Women's Soccer All-District team last fall.
A Providence, Utah native, Baer holds a 3.96 GPA in Nursing. Aa a sprinter on the Rangers Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams, she competed in nine meets, with her highest finish coming in the 400-meter dash at the Colorado State University Jack Christiansen Invite. She took fifth with a time of 1:05.95. Baer held the best times for RU in the 100-meter hurdles (17:07), and 400-meter hurdles (1:13.04).
Baer was also an RMAC Academic Honor Roll Honoree for both Track and Field and Soccer.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's track and field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 16, 2025.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
