The Rangers took a trip up to South Dakota this past weekend as they faced off with both of the conference's schools from that state, ultimately dropping each of the matchups.
Regis fell 3-0 in both matches with them reaching as high as 22 points in three of the six total sets.
Weekend Notes:

· Sabrina Landman added 14 kills while Kailyn Polzin had 10
· Maddie Lynett had 35 assists
· Cady Knight recorded 25 digs while being one of just seven players to appear in all six sets
Coming up this week the Rangers will once again head back up to South Dakota with them taking part in the RMAC Power Pod at the host site of South Dakota Mines.
Regis will play South Dakota Mines on Thursday for their first game before then facing New Mexico Highlands on Friday in Rapid City as well. Both games are nonconference bouts with only four more conference games happening after this weekend.
South Dakota Mines owns an overall record of 15-5 while going 7-3 in the RMAC and New Mexico Highlands is 3-18 (1-9 RMAC). The Rangers' last victory of the season also came against N.M. Highlands back on Oct. 2 in a five-set thriller.
WOMEN'S SOCCER
Continuing their winning streak by two more games, the Regis women's soccer team played to a pair of victories this past weekend as they took down both Western Colorado and Fort Lewis College on the road.
Regis won by scores of 2-0 and 1-0 in the two matches with them still undefeated in RMAC play at 10-0.
The Rangers are one of six teams to have already clinched a spot in the RMAC Women's Soccer Tournament with them now needing just one more win to clinch the regular season title. A tie would clinch at least a share of it as well.
Regis' 13 game-winning streak also holds the title of longest in DII right now with this being their third longest streak in program history and longest since 2004 when they won 15 in a row.
In the most recent IWSOC rankings, Regis was receiving votes and being recognized for the third straight week. Furthermore, in the most recent NPI rankings that came out today, Regis was ranked No. 16 in the nation and fourth in the South Central Region. They are the highest ranking in the RMAC for that poll while being the only team currently recognized in the IWSOC polls.
Weekend Notes:
· Fernanda Rodriguez scored all three of the team's goals in the two wins with her now having 16 total on the year and an RMAC-leading seven game-winners
· Paula Igual and Brooke Castillo added assists on both goals in the win over Western Colorado
· Regis now has 10 total shutouts on the season while only allowing three goals in conference play
· Maggie Payne recorded 9 saves across the two games with her now having six solo shutouts on the season; she was the RMAC's Goalkeeper of the Week last week for the third time in a row
Regis has just two games left in the regular season now with them playing once this week on Sunday as they host Colorado Mesa.
Sunday's game will feature the RMAC's top two standings teams with it being the Rangers' last home game of the regular season. In addition, it will also be Regis' Senior Day.
Colorado Mesa comes into the week with a 9-3-2 (7-1-1 RMAC) record with them tying CSU Pueblo 1-1 in their most recent match.
MEN'S SOCCER
The Regis men's soccer team moved their win streak to four this past weekend as they won both of their final home games of the regular season.
The Rangers handily beat CMU 3-0 on Friday for their alumni night gathering before then capping off Senior day on Sunday with a 3-1 win over Westminster.
This was their second time beating Westminster this season with the Rangers now sitting in solo second place of the conference standings with three games left to go.
Regis is also currently receiving votes in the nation as well and will wait to see where they stand when the new rankings drop tomorrow. In the NPI rankings they are No. 8 in the nation while being fifth in Super Region four. They jump up to the top 10 this week with these rankings playing significant factors into making the NCAA Tournament.
Weekend Notes:
· Liam Corr led all Rangers with five total points as he had two goals and one assist against CMU
· Jacobo Betancourt-Tovar scored in both games as well with him now having five goals on the season
· Blaise Richard and Joakim Gunnar both added one goal apiece too
· Jan Grillitsch recorded an assist against Westminster
· Zach Jennings totaled three saves in the net while facing 16 shots
· The Rangers have now scored 11 goals in their last four games
The Rangers will take to the road this week now when they travel southwest to face off with both Adams State on Friday and #RV Fort Lewis on Sunday.
Adams State is 2-10-1 (1-6 RMAC) this season while Fort Lewis is in third place of the RMAC standings at 8-4-2 (5-2 RMAC).
Only one team has clinched a spot into the RMAC Men's Soccer Tournament so far with only the conference's top six teams making it.
M/W CROSS COUNTRY
Both the men's and women's cross country teams will return to action this coming weekend as they race once again down in Colorado Springs at Monument Vally Park, this time at the UCCS Open.
Last time the teams raced was on Oct. 10 in Hays, Kansas with the men's team taking 7th out of 13 teams and the women's team taking 5th out of 10 teams.
Liam Chavez took home 20th place to lead the men's side while Caitie Slattery finished 19th for the women.
This will be the Rangers' final regular season race before the RMAC Championships take place next month on Nov. 7 in Rapid City, S.D.
