NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.— The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has released its weekly Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll, with Regis moving up to #15.
The Rangers were ranked #17 in last week's poll.
RU picked up their first win of the season, defeating #16 (now #19) Florida tech at home, 14-13. The Rangers were down two going into the fourth quarter, but scored five unanswered goals, three scored by Lexie Springman and another assisted by her, in the final period. Brigit Goetsch earned one of her 18 saves in the final seconds, stopping a game-tying attempt. Springman totaled six points, while Evie Tanella had five points from three goals and two assists, three caused turnovers, and three draw controls.
The Rangers are on the road, facing a matchup with #2 Southern Florida on Monday at 2 pm.
