NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.— The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has released its weekly Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll, with Regis coming in at #14.
The Rangers were ranked #13 in the Preseason Coaches Poll.
RU not yet played a match, and were jumped by #13 East Stroudsburg University (Penn.) after the Warriors defeated #17 (now #19) Seton Hill (Penn.), 16-3.
Since the Preseason Poll, the Rangers were picked to earn a share of the RMAC Title for the seventh consecutive season. Shea Murphy, Alyse Valdez, and Abby Mays were all named to the Preseason All-RMAC. Additionally, Murphy was voted to the USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American Second-Team, and Brigit Goetsch was named a Preseason All-American Honorable Mention.
Regis ranked #15 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine weekly Top-20 Poll.
