DENVER, Colo. – USA Lacrosse announced its Division II Women's Preseason All-Americans on Tuesday, highlighting 56 players from 25 universities across the nation. Shea Murphy and Brigit Goetsch represent Regis on the national teams.
Murphy, a senior midfielder, was voted to the Preseason All-American Second-Team. She was also voted a Second-Team All-American Attacker by USA Magazine at the end of last season. One of the most prolific scorers in the nation, Murphy scored 64 goals and assisted on 10 more for a total of 74 points. 106 of her 136 shots landed on goal (.779 %). She controlled 68 draws, collected 33 ground balls, and caused 16 turnovers.
Goetsch, a graduate goalkeeper, was an All-American Honorable Mention in 2025, and enters the season as a Preseason Honorable Mention as well. Last year, her .497 save % ranked in the top-10 in all of NCAA DII, and she was among the national leaders in saves (158) and goals against average (9.04). Additionally, she picked up 48 ground balls, and caused six turnovers.
The Rangers open their season against #7 Maryville (Mo.) on February 20.
