COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has released its 2026 Women's Lacrosse All-Conference teams, and eight Rangers have been honored by the league, headlined by the league's Goalkeeper of the Year, Brigit Goetsch, and Attacker of the Year, Maggie Schpfer.
Goetsch is the fourth Ranger to be named the RMAC's Goalkeeper of the Year, joining Elizabeth Myotte ('24), Elle Crawford ('19, '21), and Gianna Lombardi ('14). She led the conference in goals against average (9.68), saves (165), save % (.521), and wins (12). The grad from Maple Grove, Minn. also ranked top-10 nationally in saves and save percentage, while becoming the Rangers' all-time wins leader this season (55). Additionally, she led the team with 48 ground balls, and caused five turnovers. Goetsch was Second-Team All-RMAC last year, and Honorable Mention in 2023.
Schipfer marks the eighth time a Ranger has collected the league's top attacker honor (Lucy Johnson '23, Kyleigh Peoples ''19, '21, '22, Sarah Myres '18, Wendy Donier '16, and Emily Behr '15). She led the RMAC in goals (48), goals per game (3.00), shots (101), and points (66), and was second in points per game (3.47). The senior added 26 ground balls, and nine forced turnovers. Schipfer was a first-team selection in 2024 as well, and was named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week twice this year.
Aubrey Benton earned her first all-conference accolade, making the All-RMAC First team in a season in which she scored 46 goals and assisted five more. She added 21 ground balls on the year, 15 draw controls, and eight caused turnovers. The Aurora, Colo. native earned one Offensive Player of the Week honor this season.
Krista Munsinger was one of four freshmen to earn a spot on the All-RMAC First-Team. She was among the team's leaders in draw controls (40), caused turnovers (25), and ground balls (35). She earned one Defensive Player of the Week nod this season.
Sophia Katnik was the final first-team honoree for Regis, and another freshman to earn a spot on the squad. She led the team in caused turnovers with 27. She also recorded 41 ground balls, three draw controls, and one goal scored.
Lexie Springman was another top goal scorer in the conference, being named second-team after earning honorable mention last season. She found the net 44 times, and assisted 15 more goals, tying her for the team lead of 59 points. The junior from Portage, Mich. led the team with 19 free position goals, picked up 11 ground balls, and added seven CT and DC. Springman earned one Offensive Player of the Week accolade in 2026.
Evie Tanella made her first appearance on an All-RMAC team, recording 37 points from 24 goals and 13 assists on the year. She controlled 28 draws, while collecting 26 ground balls, and causing 18 turnovers.
Abby Mays is the final Ranger to be honored by the conference, earning her second straight Second-Team selection. The defender forced 22 turnovers, picked up 25 GB, and controlled three draws.
The Rangers won a share of their sixth straight RMAC Regular season title, and are the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. RU hosts the tournament, with the semifinals starting on Thursday at 4 pm.
