Rangers End Regular Season Ranked #20

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.— The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has released its weekly Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll, and the RMAC Champion Rangers come in at #20.

Regis was #19 in last week's poll.

The Rangers ended their regular season on Saturday, falling to UCCS, 11-12. The Rangers and Mountain Lions split the regular-season RMAC Title, the seventh straight share of the crown for the Rangers, and the first for UCCS.

Aubrey Benton led the Rangers' offense, scoring five goals. Kyla Bieker added tow goals and an assist, while Maggie Schipfer assisted two scores. Rome Villani forced four turnovers and picked up four ground balls. Brigit Goetsch recorded five GB to go with five saves in the goal.

The Rangers are set to host the RMAC Tournament, starting on Thursday, April 23 at 4 pm. Regis will play No. 4 Colorado Mesa, followed by No. 2 UCCS vs No. 3 Westminster at 7 pm. The Championship match is set for Saturday, April 25 at 4 pm.

Regis was also ranked #20 in the USA Lacrosse Magazine weekly Top-20 Poll.
