The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) has released the eighth edition of its 2026 Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week, and Regis University has swept the weekly accolades, with Aubrey Benton earning Offensive Player of the Week, and Brigit Goetsch earning Defensive Player of the Week.
This is Goetsch's third Player of the Week award of 2026, and the first for Benton.
Benton led the offense in the revenge win over Westminster, scoring five goals, and landing six of her eight shots on target. She converted her lone free position attempt, and picked up one ground ball. Against Colorado Mesa on Sunday, the sophomore midfielder scored five more goals and assisted one as Regis secured a share of the regular season RMAC title. She added two GB, a draw control, and a caused turnover.
Defensively, Goetsch held WU to their season low five goals, while saving 11 shots. She also picked up two ground balls. She followed that with seven saves and four more GB as the graduate keeper picked up two more wins. She now leads the RMAC in goals against average (9.53), saves (154), and save % (.524).
The Rangers host UCCS on Saturday, April 18, in the regular season finale, with a chance to secure the outright RMAC title.
