COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) has released the seventh edition of its 2026 Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week, and Regis University's Maggie Schipfer has been named the league's Offensive Player of the Week.
It is Schipfer's second Player of the Week award this year, and she is joined by Defensive Player of the Week, Heather Hawkins of Colorado Mesa.
Schipfer led the Rangers to a perfect 3-0 road trip last week, starting with a 10-5 win at Colorado Mesa University. She scored three goals, including the game-winner, all on free position attempts, going 3-4). She also picked up four ground balls and caused one turnover. The senior midfielder followed that with a seven-point performance at Fort Lewis. She scored five goals, landing all nine of her shots on goal, and added two assists. She also added two GB and a CT. The Colorado Springs, Colo. native finished the week by leading a second-half comeback win over CSU-Pueblo. Three of her four goals came in the third period, while she added a GB and a draw control.
Regis is back atop the RMAC standings, while Schipfer leads the league in goals with 42, and is second in points per game at 3.57.
Schipfer and the Rangers host two games this weekend, including Westminster (Utah) on Friday at 7 pm, and Colorado Mesa on Sunday at 12 pm.
