2009:

• A dual threat both at the plate and on the mound
• Hit .347 on the season while starting 20 games
• Hit a homerun once in every 10.7 at bats
• Second on the team with a .733 slugging pct.
• Fourth on the team with seven homeruns
• Drove in 22 runs while scoring 19
• On the mound he went 1-3 with a 9.42 ERA in 10 starts
• Threw 35.1 innings recording 27 strikeouts
• Went 2-for-4 with two homeruns and four RBI against Colorado Mines on April 26th
• Threw six innings scattering five hits and just one earned run while striking out four in 6-2 loss to nationally ranked Mesa State on March 21st
• Picked up his first victory of the season in his next start, again going six innings allowing just one earned run and no walks in an 11-4 win over Colorado Christian on April 3rd

2008:

• Started 12 games for the Rangers finishing with a 6-4 record
• Had 42 strikeouts and pitched a team-high 66 innings
• Also had 55 at bats while starting 15 games
• Hit .382 with 21 hits and 13 RBI
• Earned his first victory of the season throwing six innings allowing just two earned runs in a 19-4 win over Hastings College on February 24th
• Went 3-for-5 slapping two doubles driving in three runs while scoring three times

Central Arizona College:

• Played one year at Central Arizona College in Coolidge, Ariz.
• Had a 2-0 record in 2007
• Struck out 16 batters in just 14 innings

Manitou Springs High School:

• A 2006 graduate of Manitou Springs High School
• Was selected in the 39th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball draft by the Philadelphia Phillies
• Posted a .761 batting average while connecting on 10 home runs
• Named the 3A State Player of the Year
• A first team all-state and all-conference selection
• Named the Tri-Peaks League MVP
• Participated in the top 50 game
• Earned three letters in basketball
