Saw action in 16 games while making 14 starts … led the Rangers and ranked third in the RMAC with 2.25 ground balls per game … had a Regis high 37 ground balls … ranked third for Regis with 26 draw controls … shows she was one of the top defenders for Regis with 24 caused turnovers … put in one goal on two shots … had season-high five ground balls in two different games … had five ground balls and five caused turnovers in Rangers 19-8 win against Vassar on March 12^th … had season-high six draw controls in Rangers 19-6 win over Adams State on March 23^rd.

A 2011 graduate of Denver East High School … earned First Team All-Metro League as senior … three-Time All-State Honorable Mention selection … led East to the State runner-up finish at the 2010 Colorado State Tournament … led East to a fourth place finish at the Colorado State Tournament in 2011 … twice led the state of Colorado in ground balls … had 72 as senior and 67 as a junior.
 
Personal
Daughter of Robert and Denise Romero … has one sibling, Rocco … father Robert is Head Coach of the East High School girl lacrosse team and was the Denver Post Coach of the Year in 2010 … brother Rocco played four years at Cornell University (alma mater of Regis Head Coach Sarah Kellner) and also played for Denver Outlaws … wants to become an athletic trainer … majoring in health and exercise science.
