Started 20 of the 29 games she appeared in as a freshman, averaging 24.6 minutes … shot 38.8 percent from the floor on her way to 217 total points and 7.5 points per game … made 31-of-45 free throw attempts for a 68.9 percentage … collected 49 total rebounds with 35 coming on the defensive end … added 55 assists and 24 steals … recorded nine double-digit scoring performances including a career-high 23-point show against Black Hills State where she shot 7-for-14 from the field and 5-of-11 from behind the arc to help the Rangers to a 74-59 victory.

High School
A 2018 graduate of Rifle High School in Rifle, Colorado. She was a four-year letterwinner in basketball and golf. As a senior, Walters averaged 16.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 3.3 assists per game. During her basketball career, she was named All-Conference (2014-16), Player of the Year (2016-18), All-State Honorable Mention (2016-18). Walters helped her team to an Elite Eight appearance in 2016-17. She was also a four-time All-Conference and three-time All-State selection for golf. Academically, Walters earned the Golden Bear (four academic letters), she served as the Treasurer of the National Honor Society, and she was named the IB English and Chemistry Student of the Year

Daughter of Christy and Roger Walters and has one sister, Taylor, who played golf at Colorado Mesa University from 2013-17.
