2018-19 Academic All-RMAC First Team

2018-19 | Graduate
Started all 29 games to average 27.3 minutes per game … finished with a 77.7 free throw shooting percentage on 73-for-94 … averaged 7.5 points per game to total 218 on the season … led the team in blocks with 24 while chipping in 19 assists and 18 steals … grabbed 118 rebounds, 80 of which coming on the defensive end … tallied a season-high 17 points along with six rebounds in the Rangers’ contest with Colorado State-Pueblo on January 05.

Colorado Christian University
Spent five seasons at CCU earning numerous honors including an All-RMAC Second Team selection. Nelson averaged 15.2 points per game in 2016-17, shooting 44.2 percent from the field and 84.6 percent from the charity stripe. Nelson played in seven games during thr 2018-19 season, averaging 15.3 points on 37.6 percent shooting. 

High School
A 2013 graduate of Papillion La Vista High School, Nelson was a three-sport athlete competing in cross-country, basketball and track and field.
