2021 | Senior
Started in 32 of the 36 games he played in during the condensed 2021 season … Was third among Rangers while meeting minimum requirements in batting average and hits, with .357 and 41, respectively … Tied for third among Regis players in doubles (9) … Went 4-for-5, including a double, while scoring three runs and stealing one base in RU’s 22-7, series-opening win at Adams State on March 19 … Turned in a 3-for-4 performance, including the tie-breaking, eventual game-winning home run that yielded one of his two runs scored, which was a share of the game high, and one RBI in the Rangers’ 6-5, series-opening win over New Mexico Highlands on May 13 … Also registered a 3-for-4 showing, including a home run, in addition to scoring a share of the team-high two runs and recording a share of the game-high four RBI in Regis’s game to close a doubleheader and the series against No. 1 Colorado Mesa on April 26 … Compiled a .357 batting average, including five home runs and nine doubles, in addition to 30 runs scored, 27 RBI, eight walks, and two stolen bases for Regis during the season … Accumulated a .970 fielding percentage, including 62 putouts and two assists for RU on the year.
 
2020 | Senior
Played in all 18 games for the Rangers this season, including 14 starts, during the shortened 18-game season … Tied for first on the team in games played and home runs (2) ... Additionally stole one base … He hit one of his home runs, the eventual game-winning two-run home run, in the doubleheader opener against Northern State on Feb. 29 in which he went 1-for-3, scored two runs, had two RBI, and drew a walk in Regis’s 12-8 victory … Hit his other home run during a 1-for-4 showing at the plate to go along with one run scored and two RBI in RU’s season opener at Concordia Irvine on Feb. 7 … Batted .208 with a share of the team-high two home runs to go along with one double … He also scored six runs, had eight RBI, and drew four walks … Had a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage, consisting of 24 putouts and one assist.

2019 | Junior 
Started all 49 games he appeared in ... Had the fourth-highest batting average on the team (.298) ... Recorded 51 hits in 171 at-bats ... Was credited with 51 hits, including 16 doubles, two triples and eight home runs ... Posted a single-game high of three hits in two different games ... He was tied for first on the team with eight homers and was second on the team with 16 doubles ... Accounted for 39 RBI while scoring 33 runs of his own ... Had the second-best slugging percentage on the team (.556) while sporting a .389 on-base percentage, the fourth-best on the team ... Zimmerman stole three bases on five attempts ... He had a .960 fielding percentage with 91 putouts and four assists in left field. 

2018 | Sophomore
Started 45 of the 46 games he appeared in ... Had 51 hits, including five home runs, 13 doubles and one triple, for a batting average of .321 ... Stole three bases on four attempts ... Accumulated 66 putouts and three assists from left field for a fielding percentage of .958. 

2017 | Freshman
Appeared in 25 games while making 14 starts ... Collected three doubles, one triple and one home run ... Totaled eight hits ... Drove in five runs ... Finished with a fielding percentage of .964 with 27 putouts and just one error.

High School
A 2016 graduate of Rock Canyon High School in Highlands Ranch, Colo. … Won the State Championship in 2015 with the Jaguars of the 5A/4A Continental League.

Son of Becki and Phil Zimmerman … Has three siblings named Cayden, Tate and Tessa … His dad played baseball at Regis and in the minor leagues … The professional athlete he most admires is Nolan Arenado because of how competitive he is ...
