• Tied for the team lead with three wins going a perfect 3-0
• Appeared in 16 games all in relief
• Pitched 15 2/3 innings allowing just 10 earned runs
• Picked up his first victory of the season allowing one hit and one earned run in 2 2/3 innings of work against Colorado Christian in an 8-7 win on April 14th

2008:

• Had a team-high 23 appearances
• Earned his only save of the season against Colorado Mines on April 19th
• Led the team with a 2.52 ERA while throwing 25 innings
• Only allowed seven earned runs on the season
• Pitched two innings against Colorado Christian on March 28th striking out a career-high three allowing just one earned run

2007:

• Redshirted during the 2007 season

Weld Central High School:

• A 2006 graduate of Weld Central High School in Keensburg, Colo.
• Had a record of 5-2 with 43 strikeouts and a 2.32 ERA
• A four-year starter
• An all-conference selection as a sophomore and junior
• A first team all-conference and all-state selection his senior year
• Winner of the Gold Glove Award
• A two-year starter on the football and basketball team
• Earned all-conference honors in basketball
