DENVER, Colo. - In the South Central Region Cross Country Championship, Regis women's cross country finished in the 21st place slot with men finishing three behind in 24th.
Amanda Martinez set the pace for the women's team crossing first for the Rangers. Martinez clocked a time of 24:30 and in 69th place.
Christina Kennedy followed more than a minute behind with a 25:34 time and placed in 106th.
Emily Perez and
Katherine Pappas crossed next only 12 seconds apart. Perez recorded a finish in 25:47 and Pappas a 25:59.
Claire Wilson was next for RU finshing in 26:22 and
Haley Rach followed at 26:59.
Paloma Farkas was the final Ranger to cross the finish line with a time of 27:23.
Sean Ankarlo led the men to their 24th place finish. Ankarlo ran a 35:13 and finished in 117th.
John Malone followed clocking a 35:54 and in 142nd.
Carl Nelson was just two seconds behind Malone adding a 35:56 and earning 145th.
Kian Hartley followed only one second behind Nelson crossing at 35:57.
Evan Sanchez was next in at 36:43 with
Emilio Tovilla trailing at 37:52.
Paul Armstrong rounded it out for RU finishing at 38:35.
