DENVER, Colo. – The Regis University women's basketball team is proud to announce their 2019 Recruiting Class. The three talented ladies that have signed their National Letters of Intent to become Rangers are Sydney Speights (Parker, Colo.), Morgan Smith (Wray, Colo.) and Sydney Daniels (Littleton, Colo.).

Speights (Parker, Colo.) is a 6-2 forward from Chaparral High School. She is a two-time All-League First Team selection, averaging 10 points, five rebounds and three blocks per game. Academically, she is a part of the National Honor Society and was also a member of the LINK Crew. She is the daughter of Renee and Tony Speights and has one sister, Mia.

Smith (Wray, Colo) is a 6-0 forward from Wray High School where she is a three-time All-Conference selection. She has earned three varsity letters in basketball. She earned All-State First and Second Team honors in her career this far, averaging 13 points, eight rebounds and three assists. One fun fact is that she played on the same club team as current Rangers Elly Walters and Whitney Jacob. Smith is a member of the National Honor Society, the Family Community and Career Leaders of America, and serves as the President of the National Social Studies Honorary Society, She is the daughter of Lori Smith, has one sister, Kaylan, and one brother, Hagan.

Daniels (Littleton, Colo.) is a 5-8 guard from Dakota Ridge High School where she has earned All-State and All-Conference honors. She has served as the team captain for three years and is a two-time state MVP. Academically, she has earned Academic All-State honors and was also the Legacy Award Winner. She is the daughter of Sarah and Kelly Daniels and has two brothers, Austin and Bennet.
