SANTEE, Calif. – The Regis University men's golf team completed one round of play before the second round was suspended due to darkness at the UCSD SoCal Invitational.
 
The Rangers are tied for 13^th with a team score of 302 (+14) after 18-holes of golf. Sophomore Collin Bordeaux shot par (72), sinking a team-high three birdies and 13 pars in the first round. He leads RU and is tied for 10^th individually.
 
Just two strokes behind Bordeaux is sophomore Greyson Warfield. Warfield, who is competing in his third career tournament and second of the school year, is tied for 26^th individually with a score of 74 (+2). After carding the low score last week, freshman Brando Monetti (+6) finds himself tied for 63^rd individually. Sophomore Nick Huggins matched Monetti's score to round out the four Regis players under-80.
 
The Rangers will complete the tournament tomorrow with hopes of completing all 54 holes.
