CHANDLER, Ariz. – The Regis University men's golf team +12 (295-289-280 – 864) finished seventh at the 2019 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Men's Golf Championship. Sophomore Nick Huggins -2 (73-73-65 – 211) recorded his career low-round with a -6 (65) in the third-round, placing him tied for seventh individually, his best individual tournament finish. Huggins' career day comes on the same day he was presented the 2018-19 Men's Golf Summit Award.
 
How It Happened: Huggins tied for the best individual round on Tuesday after making six birdies in 18 holes, he sank 13 total birdies in the tournament. His tremendous third-round saw him leap 18 individuals to place tied for seventh, three strokes behind sixth place. Huggins did not shoot anything higher than par in round three.
 
Sophomore Collin Bordeaux E (70-72-71 – 213) finished tied for 12^th. Bordeaux tallied three birdies in all three rounds, totaling nine. After a double-bogey on hole three, Bordeaux recollected himself and played back to even on the day.
 
Sophomore Tyler Zhang +7 (77-71-72 – 220) placed tied for 31^st. He birdied six of 54 holes including two in the final round. He birdied the eighth hole all three times.
 
Senior Austin Byers +10 (75-76-72 – 223) and sophomore Greyson Warfield +10 (77-73-73 – 223) both tied for 37^th individually. Byers recorded his tournament-low score with three birdies on the back-nine. His 37^th place finish is his best finish of the season. Warfield birdied two holes on Tuesday and four through the entire tournament.
 
Colorado School of Mines -10 (277-275-274 – 826) took home the Championship.
