GRAND LAKE, Colo. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced the All-Region Teams on Thursday morning and three ladies from Regis University have earned recognition.

Jessica Berg and senior attacker
Kyleigh Peoples were selected to the All-Midwest Region First Team while senior goalie
Elle Crawford earned All-Midwest Region Second Team accolades.
Peoples (Castle Rock, Colo.), a two-time RMAC Attacker of the Year, earns her second-consecutive IWLCA All-Region honor in 2021 after receiving her first in 2019. Peoples led the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) in several categories including goals (54), goals per game (3.60), assists (37), assists per game (2.47), points (91), and points per game (6.07).
Berg (Colorado Springs, Colo.) debuts on the All-Region First Team after enjoying her best year as a Regis University Ranger. She was named the RMAC Midfielder of the Year for the first time in her career this season. She finished her season ranked in the top-seven in all of Division II in draw controls per game (6
th, 7.23 per game), caused turnovers per game (7
th, 2.92 per game), and ground balls per game (7
th, 4.15 per game). She led all the RMAC in each of the previously mentioned categories.
Crawford (Stillwater, Minn.), a two-time RMAC Goalie of the Year, finished the regular season ranked second in Division II with a 5.97 goals against average, .08 away from the top-spot. She was named IWLCA All-America Third Team and All-Region First Team in 2019. The senior netminder is RU's all-time leader in wins as a goalkeeper with 47. Crawford boasts a .487 save percentage this season with 73 saves, 28 ground balls and six caused turnovers.
As All-Region selections this season, Peoples and Berg and Crawford will move on to be considered for All-America honors in the next round of voting. The IWLCA will announce the 2021 All-American teams and Players of the Year in June.
