Goetsch Headlines Six Rangers on All-Region Teams

NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The IWLCA has honored 128 student-athletes in Division II with the announcement of its All-Region Teams, and six Rangers have received All-Midwest Region accolades.

Brigit Goetsch (GK, Gr., Maple Grove, Minn.) repeats as a First-Team All-Region selection in the goal, and is her third overall honor, being named Second-Team in 2023. Goetsch started all 20 games for the Rangers, posting a 14-6 record. She recorded a Regis record 195 saves, third best in NCAA DII, on .515 save percentage (3rd-NCAA), and held opponents to 9.84 goals per match. Her 57 ground balls also led the team and is a top-10 mark in program history.

Maggie Schipfer (A, Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) returns to the All-Region Second-Team, adding to her nod in 2024. She led the Rangers with 58 goals scored, landing over 69% of her shots on goal. Schipfer added 13 assists for a total of 71 points. She added 27 ground balls, 11 caused turnovers, and two draw controls.

Lexie Springman (A, Jr., Portage, Mich.), the Rangers' team-leader in points (73) and assists (24), collects her first All-Region accolade, being voted to the Second-Team. She also scored 49 goals, while picking up 12 GB, causing seven turnovers, and controlling eight draws. Additionally, she posted a 85.4% shot on goal percentage. Springman converted 21 free-position goals on the year, the third most in the nation.

Abby Mays (D, Jr., Castle Rock, Colo.) also earns her first All-Region recognition, making the Second-Team. She led RU with 33 caused turnovers, and collected 36 ground balls. She also controlled three draws while leading the Rangers' defensive line.

Aubrey Benton (A, So., Aurora, Colo.) added to her breakout sophomore season with a Second-Team All-Region selection. Second on the squad with 57 goals scored, Benton added six assists for 63 points, put 83% of her shots on target, and picked up 27 ground balls. She forced 11 turnovers, and added two draw controls.

Krista Munsinger (MF, Fr., North Oaks, Minn.) becomes the first Ranger to earn a spot on an All-Region team since 2018 (Elle Crawford, Kyleigh Peoples), is one of just eight freshmen nationally to earn the honor in 2026. Munsinger led Regis with 49 draw controls while forcing 26 turnovers, and picking up 39 ground balls. Offensively, she added three goals and three assists.

These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the Division II 2026 All-American teams on May 20.
