Goetsch Named IWLCA Second-Team All-American

NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) has announced the 2026 Division II All-American teams, and Regis goalkeeper Brigit Goetsch has been honored among the best players in Division II.

Goetsch has been voted to the All-America Second-Team, the highest honor for any goalkeeper in Regis history, and the second GK to make any All-American team (Elle Crawford, 2019).

The graduate goalie from Maple Grove, Minn. had a historic season in the cage for the Rangers. She started all 20 games for the Rangers, posting a 14-6 record, and recorded a Regis record 195 saves, third best in NCAA DII. Those saves came on a .515 save percentage (3rd-NCAA), and Goetsch held opponents to 9.84 goals per match. Her 57 ground balls also led the team and is a top-10 mark in program history.

For her career, Goetsch has played in 76 games, including 57 wins at goalie, a Ranger record, 521 saves on .482 SV%, 9.02 goals against average, and 186 ground balls, all top-10 marks.
