DENVER – The 2022 Recruiting Class for the Regis University women's lacrosse team has been made official. Head Regis University Women's Lacrosse Coach, Sarah Kellner, inked four signatures of talented ladies to join her 2022 Recruiting Class. 

The four additions include: Haley Vanek, Shea Murphy, Noemi Ramirez and Maggie Schipfer.

Haley Vanek | Englewood, Colo. | Attacker/Draw Specialist
Haley Vanek will graduate in 2022 from Mullen High School. A dual-sport athlete, Vanek lettered in both lacrosse and field hockey while at Mullen. Vanek has had an outstanding career on and off the field through her high school years - she's a two-time All-Conference Honorable Mention nominee and was named to the Honor Roll three times. When not playing lacrosse for Mullen, Vanek also participated at the club level for 3d Colorado to keep her skills sharp. 

She's the sibling of the former Regis lacrosse standout Ali Vanek (2017-2020) and the daughter of Ben Vanek and Amanda Kelley. She plans to major in Biology and minor in Spanish while at Regis.   
 

Shea Murphy | Lakewood, Colo. | Midfielder
Shea Murphy will be a 2022 graduate of Green Mountain High School. Murphy played four years of both lacrosse and basketball while at Green Mountain, earning varsity letters in both sports. Murphy earned a plethora of awards in lacrosse through her time at Green Mountain, as well as at the club level with 3d Colorado, 3d National and American Select.

During her freshman year, she was given All-Conference First Team distinction for her hard work on the field. She was also named Team MVP and Team Offensive Player of the Year that same year. She was named team captain prior to her junior year campaign and again was awarded All-Conference First Team and Team MVP upon completing the season. She was then given an Academic All-State nod for her success in the classroom and even made the All-State Second Team. 

She's the daughter of Adelaide and Ryan Murphy and would love to pursue a career as a Dentist or Dermatologist.
 

Noemi Ramirez | Libertyville, Ill. | Attacker
Noemi Ramirez will be a 2022 graduate of Vernon Hills High School in Vernon Hills, Ill.. Rameriz lettered in lacrosse while at Vernon Hills and also played at the club level for True Lacrosse. While at Vernon Hills, she earned an All-State Honorable Mention for her solid play on the team. 

Her favorite athlete is Michael Jordan because, "I love how much of a hard worker he is. Not only does he push himself to the limit, but his teammates as well". She's the daughter of Alex and Noemi Ramirez and plans to major in Nursing while at Regis.
 

Maggie Schipfer | Colorado Springs, Colo. | Attacker/Midfielder
Schipfer arrives at Regis as a 2022 graduate of The Classical Academy. She posted 39 goals, 19 assists and 58 points in her junior year alone at The Classical Academy. She was named All-League First Team and All-State Second Team for her efforts on the field. 

Schipfer chose Regis because of, "the pretty location and the girls on the lacrosse team". She's the daughter of Adrienne and Matt Schipfer and plans to major in Nursing while at Regis.
