Regis women's lacrosse soars to No. 2 in latest IWLCA National Poll

| By:
DENVER, Colo. — The Regis University women's lacrosse team put an exclamation point on its undefeated run through non-conference play with a 14-12 road win Sunday against previously No. 1 ranked University of Indianapolis.

On Monday, the Rangers were rewarded as they came in at No. 2 in the Week Five Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) National Poll; tied for the highest national ranking in program history. Regis was previously No. 2 on May 6, 2019 after going 18-0 to that point and capturing the 2019 RMAC Tournament title.

The Rangers earned 637 points and one first-place vote in this week's IWLCA Poll, climbing up to No. 2 from last week's No. 7 spot. Fellow undefeated team West Chester (6-0) tops the poll with 22 first-place votes and 693 points, while Pace (625 points), UIndy (616 points) and Le Moyne (588 points) round out the top-5.
