COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Following the team's undefeated Florida road trip, the No. 8 ranked Regis women's lacrosse team swept the Week One RMAC Players of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday.

Regis sophomore midfielder Shea Murphy earned Offensive Player of the Week honors, while junior midfielder Madeline Schallmoser completed the Rangers' sweep of the awards with Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Murphy got her 2024 season off to a tremendous start, scoring five goals in each game in wins over No. 25 ranked Florida Tech and No. 5 ranked Florida Southern. Her 10 goals came on just 13 shot attempts (76.9%) and Murphy added one assist to give her a RMAC-leading 11 points through the opening week.

On the defensive end of the field, Schallmoser led all Regis players with seven caused turnovers and five ground balls during the Florida road trip. To add to her well-rounded season debuts, the junior also added one goal and two assists.

Regis will now prepare for a five-game home stand, beginning with this Saturday's bout against Dominican University of California. First draw is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Regis Turf Fields.
