LOUISVILLE, Ken. – Following an undefeated run to their first conference tournament title in six years, the Regis University softball team had reason to continue celebrating as the National Fastpitch Coaches Association released its All-Region selections on Wednesday, with junior third baseman Miia Campos earning her first All-South Central Region Second Team honors in her career.
The Tucson-native was instrumental in Regis' success during the 2024 season with a team-best .426 batting average with 81 total hits in 190 plate appearances. In addition to her batting average, Campos posted the team's second-best OPS at 1.056.
Defensively, Campos posted a .931 fielding percentage and started 48 of the 52 games she appeared in at third base.
Earlier this postseason, Campos also earned her second straight First Team All-RMAC nod.
