Women's Basketball Reveals 2025-26 Signing Class

DENVER, Colo. – The Regis University Women's Basketball team is proud to introduce its 2025 signing class, as nine talented freshmen and transfers join the team ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Emily Allison, G, 5-8, So., Morrison, Colo., Columbine HS, Western Colorado University

Allison is no stranger to the RMAC, coming to Regis from Western Colorado, who finished last year second in the RMAC standings. She made 10 appearances for the Mountaineers, scoring eight points, grabbing three rebounds, and dishing two assists.

At Columbine HS, Allison helped lead her team to four straight playoff approaches. She was an All-State Honorable Mention, as a senior, a two-time First-Team All-Conference performer, and the two-time Columbine HS Female Athlete of the Year. She increased her scoring average each year, clearing 16 PPG both her junior and senior seasons. She was a four-sport letterwinner in basketball, soccer, track, and flag football.

Alicia Barajas, G, 5-7, Fr., Broomfield, Colo., Holy Family HS

Barajas excelled as both an athlete and a student at Holy Family High School. A 4.0 GPA student, she was an Academic All-Conference, two-sport athlete in basketball and lacrosse.

Legcee Fillmore, G, 5-4, So., Orlando, Fla., Oakridge HS, Nebraska Wesleyan University

Fillmore comes to the Rangers by way of Nebraska Wesleyan University. In her freshman season for the Prairie Wolves, Fillmore scored 20 points over 15 contests, adding three rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

In her prep career, she averaged over 6 points and 2 rebounds per game, peaking at 10.4 PPG, 2.6 RPG, and a season with two steals per game as well.

Kate Gallery, F, 6-0, Jr., Pueblo, Colo., Pueblo West HS, Fort Lewis College

Another transfer from an RMAC foe, Gallery played a total of 58 games for the Skyhawks, including 27 starts. She averaged 5.9 points and 2.7 rebounds, and totaled 49 steals, 35 assists, and six blocks. Her sophomore season, Gallery posted 9.2 PPG and 3.9 RPG, and earned both All-RMAC and CSC All-District Academic honors.

At Pueblo West HS, she was twice selected as a First-Team All-Conference and All-State performer. She was a three-sport athlete, lettering in basketball, volleyball, and track.

Josie Lynch, G, 5-11, Fr., Littleton, Colo., Chatfield HS

Lynch was a First-Team All-Jeffco player, as she recorded the second most blocks in all of 6A with 110. She was very efficient from the line at 81%, and from deep at 45%.  

Danielle Smith, G, 5-6, Jr., Lacey, Wash., Timberline HS, New Mexico JC

Smith played 21 games last year for New Mexico Junior College, who would make it to the National Tournament Elite Eight. In high school, she was her team's MVP and Defensive Player of the Year, while earned an All-Conference Honorable Mention nod.

Savanna Staff, G, 5-7, Jr., Frederick, Colo., Frederick HS, Westminster University

Staff comes from fellow RMAC institution Westminster University, where she played 35 games over two season with a pair of starts. She collected 23 rebounds, recorded 14 assists, five steals, and eight points. At Frederick High School, Staff was an All-State Honorable Mention, Academic All-State, and First-Team All-Conference.

Caitie Turnbow, C, 5-11, So., Las Cruces, N.M., Organ Mountain HS, New Mexico Highlands University

The final RMAC transfer is Turnbow from New Mexico Highlands. She started nine of the 23 games she played for the Cowgirls, averaging 4.3 points on above 57% shooting and 3.1 rebounds, recording 11 assists, nine steals, and five blocks. In her prep career, Turnbow was a 1,000-point scorer, averaging between 12-17 points per game each year, as well as five-plus boards.

Kaylin Venick, G, 5-7, Gr., Rices Landing, Penn., Trinity HS, Slippery Rock University

Venick joins the Rangers after four seasons at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. She played a total of 84 games, making 35 starts. Vencik averaged 2.6 points (3.9 in her peak season) and 2.0 rebounds (2.5), recorded 65 steals, 62 assists, and seven blocks. She was a team captain and a PSAC Scholar-Athlete.

The Rangers start their season on November 14, against Eastern New Mexico University.
