COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has officially released its 2024-25 Women's Basketball All-Conference teams, and two Rangers have been honored by the league.
Erin Fry made her third straight appearance on the All-Conference First-Team. The Graduate guard averaged 18.5 points per game in 24-25, ranking fifth in the conference. She was second in the conference in free throws made (161) and seventh in field goals made, while being top-10 in shooting percentage for both. Fry dished 149 assists (2nd in RMAC), good for 5.3/game (also second). She was very efficient in her passing, being second in assist to turnover ratio at 1.7. She had the highest single-game assist total in the RMAC with 12 on December 7 at Fort Lewis College, and was one of two players in the conference with multiple games of double-digit assists. Fry was named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week twice this year.
Athena Saragoza made the All-RMAC Second-Team last season, and improved to make the All-RMAC First-Team in 2024-25. The Senior guard not only led the RMAC, but all of NCAA DII in three-pointers made per game with 3.14. She totaled 88 triples on 35.3% shooting, both topping the RMAC leaderboards. Saragoza averaged 17.8 points per contest (7th in RMAC) on 38.9% shooting (6th), while also leading the conference in minutes played with 1,063.
Olivia Reed Thyne (Colorado Mesa) was named the conference Player of the Year, Alisha Little (CSU-Pueblo) was selected as the Defensive Player of the Year, Kapiolani Anitielu (New Mexico Highlands) was voted the Freshman of the Year, and Colorado Mesa's Taylor Wagner won Coach of the Year.
