DENVER, Colo. – United Soccer Coaches has released its latest Top 25 Coaches Poll, and the Regis University Men's Soccer team is receiving votes for the first time this season.

The Rangers went 1-1 last week on their road trip to California. RU rallied late over Biola University, scoring two goals in the final three minutes of the match, including a game-winner by Ben Wittenbernds with just 15 seconds left on the clock. On Saturday, an early penalty kick from Point Loma doomed the Rangers, as they fell, 0-1.

Jacobo Betancourt-Tovar currently leads the Rangers with five points from two goals and an assist. He ranks third in the RMAC with 1.67 points per game. Freshman goalkeeper Zach Jennings is also among the leaders in saves per game, save percentage, and goals against average.

RU returns to the west coast this weekend, with road matches at Western Washington University on Thursday at 5 pm, and Seattle Pacific University on Saturday at 3:30 pm.
