KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Intercollegiate Women's Soccer Organization of Coaches (IWSOC) in partnership with the United Soccer Coaches released the week seven National Top 25 poll this morning with the Rangers earning votes.
This is now the third week in a row the Rangers have been represented in the polls with them earning votes two weeks ago and previously being ranked No. 22 in the nation last week.
Regis is currently 12-2 (8-0 RMAC) this season while being on an 11-game winning streak and being the solo leaders in the conference standings. They are still the only team in the RMAC with double digit wins to this point as well and tie for second most wins of any team in this week's polls.
This past week they went 2-0 in conference play with wins over MSU Denver and Colorado Christian while goalkeeper Maggie Payne earned the conference goalkeeper of the week award.
In addition to the IWSOC polls, the first edition of the National Power Index (NPI) rankings also came out this week with Regis being the No. 22 team in the nation. They are the highest of any RMAC team with these standings having significant impact on who makes the NCAA Tournament in November.
