HOW IT HAPPENED

Caitlin Turnbow opened the scoring for the Rangers with a pair of free throws and a layup, and Jessica Bollwahn added a three-pointer to jump out to a quick 7–0 lead. Mary Crossland kept the momentum going with a layup, and Kate Gallery knocked down a three in transition after a steal by Turnbow. Turnbow then converted an and-one layup, Emily Allison scored her first bucket of the night, and Bollwahn finished the quarter with a layup to give Regis a 23–12 advantage heading into the second.

Allison opened the second quarter by sinking two free throws, followed by another three from Gallery. Westminster responded with six unanswered points to cut into the lead, but Bollwahn answered with back-to-back layups to halt the run. Gallery later drilled another three-pointer to send the Rangers into halftime with a 41–25 lead.

Westminster scored first out of the break, but Regis quickly responded as Crossland hit a free throw and added a jumper, Gallery finished a layup, pushing the lead to 47–33. Gallery stayed hot, burying a three and converting back-to-back layups off assists from Kaylin Venick. Allison capped the quarter with a triple as Regis extended its advantage to 62–42.

The Rangers were held scoreless for the first three minutes of the fourth quarter before Bollwahn broke the drought with two free throws, followed by a three-pointer from Venick.
