Springman, Goetsch Sweep RMAC Weekly Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) has released the second edition of its 2026 Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week, and Regis University sweeps the weekly accolades, with Lexie Springman being named the Offensive Player of the Week, and Brigit Goetsch being voted the Defensive Player of the Week.

It is the first weekly honor of the season for both Rangers.

In the Rangers' lone game of the week, RU defeated #16 Florida Tech, 14-13. On the offensive end, Springman landed all five of her shots on target, and all five resulted in goals. She also added one assist for a total of six points. She came alive in the fourth quarter, as the Rangers were trailing by two going into the final period, but that's when Springman scored three of her goals and recorded her assist. She also posted a ground ball and draw control in the win.

On the defensive end, Goetsch, who currently leads NCAA DII in saves per game, posted 18 saves, the second-best mark in her career. She added a game-high five ground balls, and one caused turnover from the goal. Her final save of the game came with just 12 seconds to play, stopping the game-tying attempt, and picked up the ensuing ground ball to end the match.

Springman, Goetsch, and the Rangers take on #2 ranked Florida Southern on Monday afternoon in Lakeland, Fla.
